Now, therefore, the undersigned, being a majority of the adult members of the Sac and Fox of the Mississippi tribe of Indians in the State of Iowa, do hereby agree to accept their proportionate share of the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) in commutation for the permanent annuity stipulated to be paid to the said Sac and Fox of the Mississippi tribe by treaty of November 3, 1804, article 3 (7 Stat. L., 84), $1,000.
