Abstract
-
"In 1929 the congregation of the Boston Avenue M.E. Church South in Tulsa Oklahoma dedicated their church contributing the design to the artist Adah Robinson. A few months later an article appeared in a highly respected architectural magazine contributing the design to Bruce Goff a former student of Miss Robinson. Since that time the church has held fast that the church was designed by Adah Robinson, but the art and architectural world defends Bruce Goff as the designer. This publication is an investigation into that controversy; who designed the Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa Oklahoma"-- Provided by publisher
