Abstract
[Rand Elliott] covered the windows that were not surrounded with glass enclosures with white blackout shades and painted the walls of the entire room white, which, in effect, dematerializes the physical aspects of the space and allows the blocks of light to take center stage as the formal elements. "If you were in this space and squinted your eyes, the boundaries of the space would disappear," said Elliott. "All you would sense is glowing vessels of light, you'd feel lost in a sea of light."
